Jordan Addison of the Vikings was allegedly observed driving his Lamborghini at an astonishing 140 mph in a 55 mph zone
Jordan Addison, a rookie with the Minnesota Vikings, was apprehended by law enforcement on Thursday morning after driving his Lamborghini Urus at a speed of 140 mph in a 55 mph zone. Around three in the morning, the Minnesota State Troopers observed him travelling significantly over the speed limit near Dell Street on Interstate 94.
To halt the reckless driving, the authorities pulled over the wide receiver in his Lamborghini, and they gave him a ticket for speeding and irresponsible driving. According to the most recent information, the inquiry is still under progress. The Vikings reportedly released a statement saying, “We are aware of the traffic incident involving Jordan Addison last night and are gathering additional information.” According to NFL’s Ian Rapoport.
The rookie receivers will participate in their first on-field practise on Wednesday as the Vikings get ready to report to training camp on Sunday. It’s unknown whether Addison’s presence would be affected by this legal matter. The Minnesota Vikings previously selected former USC wide out Addison with the 23rd overall choice of the 2023 NFL Draught, making him their fourth receiver available. Prior to transferring to USC before the 2021 season, Addison spent the first two seasons of his scholastic career with Pittsburgh, where he won unanimous All-American honors. The receiver amassed 219 catches for 3,134 yards over the course of his whole college career, with an average of 14.3 yards per grab and 29 touchdowns in three years.
According to rumors, the youngster will start in lieu of newly-departed Vikings receiver Adam Thielen, who just signed with the Carolina Panthers, for an extended length of time. Addison showed potential last season with a 13-4 record, making it to the top 10 despite falling short in the Wild Card stage against the Giants, concluding with a 31-24 loss, as a key member of the Minnesota club, with All-Pro receiver Justin Jefferson and K.J. Osborn.
