“Celebrity Lineup Revealed for Upcoming Season of ‘Dancing with the Stars'”
The lineup for the upcoming season of “Dancing with the Stars” has been revealed, and it promises to be a star-studded affair. The entire cast of the ballroom competition’s next season was announced on Wednesday’s “Good Morning America,” featuring a diverse group of contestants.
Competing on the show will be actress Alyson Hannigan, former NFL player Adrian Peterson, social media star Harry Jowsey, singer Jason Mraz, and actress Mira Sorvino, among others. Interestingly, Jamie Lynn Spears, the sister of pop sensation Britney Spears, will also be a contestant, and she has pledged to donate her earnings from the show to SAG-AFTRA amid the ongoing union strike.
While most members of her community are currently on strike, Jamie Lynn Spears saw this as a unique opportunity to work when her community couldn’t. She decided to participate in the show and donate her weekly earnings to SAG-AFTRA.
The competition show will air simultaneously on ABC and Disney+ and is set to premiere on September 26th. Alfonso Ribeiro will co-host with Julianne Hough, and the judging panel will consist of Carrie Ann Inaba, Bruno Tonioli, and Derek Hough.
