The 30-year-old singer first gained recognition as a teenager when she posted videos on YouTube. She also appeared on American Idol Season 9 but narrowly missed securing a spot in the Top 24. Her big break came with her gospel-inspired album ‘Hiding Place,’ which won a Grammy for Best Gospel Album and ‘Never Alone’ for Best Gospel Performance/Song in 2019.

TMZ reports that Tori Kelly is currently admitted to the hospital and is undergoing treatment for severe blood-related exhaustion. Earlier this year, under Epic Records, Tori released ‘Miss You,’ her first solo single with a Y2K-inspired music video. The song is a sample of Craig David’s 2000 single ‘Fill Me In.’ The track marks Tori’s first new music since ‘Inspired by True Events’ in 2020 and ‘Hiding Place’ in 2018. In 2019, she won two Grammy Awards for her work on ‘Hiding Place.’

After the release of ‘Miss You,’ Kelly expressed her excitement about returning to the stage, saying, “I miss touring a lot. I was really on a world tour when COVID was happening, and having to cancel that was heartbreaking,” she shared. “Since then, I haven’t been able to tour. It’s one of the most exciting things I’m looking forward to. I can’t give any details or anything right now, but I can’t wait to see the fans again and perform these songs for them.”

We wish Tori Kelly a swift recovery and hope to see her back in good health and performing soon.”
