Since having her son Halo, Halle Bailey has developed strong maternal instincts, and she will not tolerate accusations that she misrepresented her pregnancy.

Bailey, 23, referenced a prior backlash about having a "pregnancy nose" symptom in a message via X on Sunday, January 28.

"I never lied or even said anything about it honey, making a joke about my nose was the farthest I went," Bailey wrote.

"I won't ever understand why you are upset with me; I stood up for my own peace, shouldn't you too?"

"And now that my son is here safely, I'm going to share my pictures. If you don't want to see them, just keep scrolling, baby. God bless you," she said.

Despite many speculations, Bailey and her partner, DDG (actual name Darryl Dwayne Grandberry Jr.), never made their first baby announcement public.

They disclosed earlier this month that son Halo was born in the latter half of 2023.

Bailey and DDG, 26, have been sharing pictures of their newborn son and old prenatal photos on a regular basis since Halo's arrival.
