Lily Gladstone secured a historic victory at the 81st Golden Globes

Lily Gladstone, winning the Best Female Actor-Motion Picture award for her role in Martin Scorsese's 'Killers of The Flower Moon.'

The talented actress becomes the first Indigenous woman to receive this accolade 

Gladstone has also become the first Indigenous woman to win the award, as per Variety. 

Gladstone opened her victory speech in the Blackfeet language and said "I'm so grateful I can speak even a little bit of my language, which I'm not fluent in"

Gladstone won for her portrayal of real-life figure Mollie Kyle, the Indigenous wife of World War I veteran Ernest Burkhart (DiCaprio), in 'Killers of the Flower Moon.'
